This healthy after-school snack couldn’t be any easier to make… or eat. Kids love the flavor combo, and you’ll love the ease of preparing them. In fact, they’re so easy to assemble, you might even be able to coerce your little ones to make them themselves! Plus, they deliver lots of healthy fats, fiber and vitamin C, so you can feel good knowing the kiddies are getting what they need to stay satisfied and strong all school-year long!
Ingredients:
- 1 large apple of your choosing (Gala and Pink Lady tend to be sweeter, Red Delicious tends to deliver a tarter flavor).
- 2-3 Tbsp. all natural peanut butter (or nut/seed butter of your choosing)
- 2 Tbsp. raisins
- 2 Tbsp. unsweetened coconut flakes
- 2 Tbsp. granola
- Cinnamon, if desired
Directions:

- Core apples and slice horizontally into thin, flat pieces.
- Smear peanut butter evenly across all slices.
- Top with any combination of raisins, coconut, granola and a dash of cinnamon.
